PIANIST ASSIGNMENT Wladyslaw Szpilman was a calibrate-Jewish pianist, composer, resistance fighter, and author. He was born(p) on 5th December, 1911. When the Nazi party under Adolf Hitler took part in 1933, Szpilman returned to capital of Poland where he became well-known for his vie and composing. From April 1st, 1935, he worked for Polish Radio, playing music over the air, until the German array invaded Warsaw in 1939. The Pianist, a biographical film released in 2002, was loosely ground on Szpilmans memoirs, but the director, Roman Polanski, took a veritable pith of artistic license in telling the story.
